A hilly ride through two counties.

So tomorrows little DECC Sunday social ride is to the lovely town of Nailsworth in county Gloucestershire. It is a wee ride of 57miles with only 2414 ft of climbing. It should start of dry if the met office has got it correct and then the longer we are out riding the greater the chance of getting wet before we make it back to the warmth of the Darkroom Coffee shop for a lovely coffee. I shall be trying to capture as much of it on the action camera and may have some good footage to share with everyone during the week when I get a chance to review and edit the video footage.

I am starting to get a mix of nervous and excited about next June even though it is still just over six months away. I just hope I manage to get all the little ducks in a row and be fit enough and hit my target for the charity. That is the one thing that is giving me the biggest amount of nerves. I never thought it would be so hard to raise this amount of money and always imagined that there would be more than enough time.

So lets see how the legs hold up to the challenge of these hills.

Wish me luck and please keep the rain gods away until at least the return leg of the journey.

Stay tuned for the next installment.
