THE START OF MY JOURNEY.

I started road cycling when I was 14 with my local club Ballymena Road Club. I raced, and time trialled as a school boy. I have loved road cycling ever since. And then in my later years discovered XC mountain biking when I took part in Mountain Mayhem 24hr event. I have since ridden the Ride London 100 three consecutive years the first with a rather badly damaged right ankle which was twice the size. I joined Darkroom Cycling Club 24th September 2017. I love the social side of DECC club rides but also enjoy getting out and putting in some miles just myself and my bike. Next challenge is Malin Head to Mizen Head. Cycling highlights to date is cycling with Jens Voight the last four years in September around the New Forest and then Guy Martin last October.
